In 2006, Phi Delta Epsilon (PhiDE) Fraternity selected Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) as our international philanthropic and service partner. CMN was chosen because they exist to serve children regardless of a family’s ability to pay and because we are their current and future physicians. All chapters (and prospective chapters) are affiliated with a local children’s hospital where all of their service and philanthropic efforts directly impact the local community.
Stand For The Kids® (SFTK®) was started in 2013 as PhiDE’s international day of philanthropy where all chapters and members around the world stand to raise awareness and funds for their local children’s hospital. We stand as a symbolic gesture to honor the dedicated doctors, families, and friends who spend countless hours standing by children in need every day. This event is mandatory for all chapters, and while each chapter is allowed to host unique event(s), we all stand together in solidarity.
